New York, NY (April 22, 2014) - Reinforcing New York City’s status as the global hub where technology and business and culture meet, Internet Week New York's HQ at Chelsea’s Metropolitan Pavilion will showcase keynotes with the industry’s leading thinkers, classes led by top experts, interactive art installations and panels on topics exploring tech’s impact on media, entertainment, retail, finance, advocacy and more.

Taking place from May 19th to 25th, Internet Week New York 2014 is expected to draw more than 45,000 people to over 250 events taking place at the IWNY HQand at venues across the city, including Webby Awards hosted by Patton Oswalt, The Webutante Ball, Time Inc.’s 10 NYC Startups to Watch and the Official IWNY HQ Closing Party.   • Marking his first major address to New York City's thriving technology industry, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio will kick off Internet Week New York 2014 on Monday, May 19th by outlining his administration’s plans to support and grow the city’s innovation economy.
  • Keynotes by Netflix Chief Product Officer Neil Hunt, BuzzFeed Co-Founder and CEO Jonah Peretti, Zipcar Founder Robin Chase, Coca Cola Senior Vice President Jonathan Mildenhall, Indiegogo CEO Slava Rubin, Deputy Mayor Alicia Glen and VICE Co-Founder Suroosh Alvi.
