New York, NY (May 15, 2014) - Foursquare Founder and CEO Dennis Crowley, AdaFruit Founder Limor Fried and Resource Vice President of Emerging Media Dan Shust are among the leaders headlining an Internet Week New York series on May 20th exploring how technology is reshaping the future of retail and commerce, festival organizers announced today.

Presented by Oracle Social, an Oracle Cloud platform that helps brands listen, monitor, engage and scale their relationship with customers on social media channels, the Retail and Commerce series will also feature a panel dissecting the results of a new McCann study on the Truth About Shopping and a workshop led by General Assembly on bringing an e-commerce product idea to concept.

Internet Week New York 2014 is expected to draw more than 45,000 people to over 250 events at the Internet Week New York HQ and at venues across the city. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Zipcar Founder Robin Chase, BuzzFeed Co-Founder and CEO Jonah Peretti, Upworthy Co-Founder Peter Koechly, Orange is the New Black author Piper Kerman and actor and startup investor Omar Epps are among the innovators on the lineup at Internet Week New York HQ.
